In this case they made it easy as bub wandered off and I was able to sneak up on her and give her treatment for sarcoptic mange. She looks bad but it can still be turned around. Another wombat treated for mange early this morning. We suspect it’s Stu, a wombat treated once last year before he disappeared. One dose Bravecto is not enough so it’s starting from scratch again and hopefully we can give him two follow up doses.
